Fourteen "E Team" swimmers competed in the Colonies Zones SCY Championships held on April 5-7, 2019 at the George Mason University Aquatic and Fitness Center in Fairfax. A total of 453 swimmers representing 70 swim clubs from the East Coast competed in a combination of events.
Alyssa Godesky (33), Shannon Barras (56), Dorothy Tourtual and Shirley Loftus-Charley (both 67) competed in the 1000 and 1650 yard swims on the opening day. Over the final two days, Emilie MacDonald (19), Esther Bobbin (36), Amanda Sovik-Johnston (38), Quin Lucie (45), Christina Bowman (46), Corey Krall (50), Hillary Goldberg (59), Willam Wardle (67), Tourtual, Loftus-Charley, and Ann Lyttle and Suzi Burns (both 71) competed.
The team scored 7 first-, 18 second-, and five third-place finishes and earned 225 points for an 11th place finish out of 70 clubs.
The E Team is coached by Don Easterling at the Brooks Family YMCA.
