Nine Masters "E Team" swimmers from the Brooks Family YMCA competed in two recent swim meets.
Quin Lucie (45) and Corey Krall (49) swam strong in the Tropical Splash meet in Alexandria no January 27, 2019, scoring first-place honors in the signature events (50 breast and 50 back, respectively).
The second meet, the David Greggory III Memorial, was held in Richmond on February 2, 2019. Christina Bowman (46), Hillary Goldberg (59), Patricia Thackston, Dorothy Tourtual, Steve Paushter, Shirley Loftus-Charley (all 67), and Suzi Burns (71) took home 16 first place victories.
Loftus-Charley received an additional honor for being the "swimmer with the lowest cumulative time in the four 50-yard events (fly, back, breast, and free)."
The swimmers are coached by Don Easterling.
