Eight Brooks Family YMCA "E Team" masters swimmers recently competed in three regional competitions, bringing home a total of 30 first-place finishes and 2 meet records.
David Greggory III Memorial meet in Richmond (February 3, 2018): Emilie Macdonald (18), Jennifer Caspo (24), Rebecca Deaton (42), Christina Bowman (45), Hillary Goldberg (58) and Suzi Burns (70).
Club Tribe Masters Classic meet in Williamsburg (March 17, 2018): Caspo, Bowman, Deaton, Goldberg and Burns.
Colonies Zone Championships meet at George Mason University in Fairfax (April 13-15, 2018): Deaton, Goldberg, Patricia Thackston (66) and Ann Lyttle (70). Lyttle set Zone records in the 100 and 200 freestyle races for her age group.
The team is coached by Don Easterling at the YMCA.
